# LINES AS INDICATORS OF LIFE EXPECTANCY AND IMPORTANT EVENTS IN LIFE

Almost all the eminent Palmists are agreed that one can only indicate the approximate time when some events or mishaps would occur in a person's life and that the lines cannot indicate any definite time when such things would happen.

##### (Fig 5/1)

Palmists do not agree about the best method of calculating the time of events from a study of the lines on the palm. The present author, however, believes that Cheerio’s System of Seven is accurate to a large degree. Cheerio’s formula in its essence is as follows: Cheerio’s divides the Line of Life and the Line of Saturn according to his System of Seven into segments each representing a span of seven years. He does not divide the Head Line and the Heart Line under this system, but believes that if the Head Line is short it indicates an under-developed mind. As to the Heart Line, Cheerio’s believes that if it is short, it indicates lack of sentimentality in a person. He applies his System of Seven on the Line of Mercury and the Line of the Sun, as he does on the Line of Saturn. The Line of Mars runs parallel to the Line of Life and he brings it under his system.

###### To Take the Line of Life First

It begins from a point between the Mounts of Jupiter and the Aggressive Mars (see Fig. 5/1). If you want to find the childhood of a person consult the origin of this line. The middle of the line represents youth and the part near the wrist old age. A simple method of marking the age on the Line of Life is to draw a line from the middle of the Mount of Venus to the outer edge of the base of the little finger. The point where this line intersects the Line of Life is the age of 35 years. Another horizontal line is drawn from the centre of the Mount of venus to the percussion (the other edge of the palm) and the point at which it intersects the Line of Life is age 49. Draw a third line from the centre of the Mount of Venus to the bracelet. The point at which this line intersects the Line of Life is the age of 63 years.

Fig. 5/1 shows age 98 years at the end of the Line of Life, whereas the beginning of the tine represents age 0 years. After you have understood where the three ages in life (35. 49 and 63) are situated between and 98 years lie, it would be easier for you to mark the other points showing the various ages. You can then predict the influence of the Lice of Life according to its state and direction.

###### Other Rules Governing the Forecast of Progress, Profit and Career Prospects

If you look at Fig. 5/2, you would find a vertical line. It is the line of Saturn. A person's age can be calculated from this line according to the following method this line originates from the wrist (See rig 5/2 Zero) and ends at' the base of the middle finger (Fig. 5/2). Events during childhood can be seen from the beginning of this line, those of youth from the middle and old age from the end of the line.

Fig. 5/2 shows a line drawn from the centre of the Mount of Venus towards the bracelet. The junction of this line with the Line of Saturn has been marked "21 years". Another line has been drawn from the same point to join the base of the little finger. The point where it intersects the Line of Saturn has been marked "35 years". Another line has been drawn from the centre of the Mount of Venus to the percussion (other end of the palm). Its junction with the Line of Saturn has been marked "28 years"

Between the points 0, 21, 28, 35 and 91 you can mark the ages according to your own understanding of the subject. Keeping them in view and also the Line of Saturn you can know whether at that particular time a person is likely to gain money or lose it.

Some palmists mark the Head Line at 35 years and the Heart Line at 50 rears. These lines are not similarly placed in all palms and that is why this rule might give an approximation of the true reading, but the proper course is the one outlined in this article.
