The monthly Panchang or almanac is a type of Hindu calendar. Through which information about date, Nakshatra, Lagna, Sunrise-Sunset and Moonrise-Moon period, besides other astrological calculations are also known.
In the daily Panchang, where there is a complete description of a particular day, in the same way in the monthly Panchang, the details of each day in the whole month are found. Panchang is used to know an appropriate day and time to do different auspicious works like wedding, journey, start a new business etc. Panchang is also used to know the unfavorable resulting days and times.
