Environmental Vastu

For the success of any of business or Industry, one should follow the principles of Environmental Vastu also. Trees and plants play a very important role in maintaining the balance in environment. Plants and trees not only maintain the balance in environment but they are equally important for the existence of living beings on earth. Plants and trees make the environment neat and healthy clean as they inhale the poisonous and harmful gases present in the environment. There is a detailed description in our ancient puranas and scriptures of how we can remove the defects of vastu, which are the necessary plants of our life and which plants help us in maintaining the balance in the environment.

The importance of Ashoka tree in Vastu

Ashoka tree gives extremely auspicious results if it is paced in North direction. Ashoka tree removes the evil effects of others inauspicious trees in the surrounding. The most auspicious place to plant the Ashoka tree is north direction. It is considered to be a pious tree and casts auspiciousness in this area where it is planted.

The importance of banana tree in Vastu

Like Asoka tree Banana tree too is considered very auspicious in the boundary of any business and industrial premises. It is best in Ishan kona. A Tulsi plant near the banana tree enhances its auspiciousness.

Aak (Shwetark)

Shwetark is a latex plant. According to vastu principle, any latex plant in the boundary of an industrial and business premises is very inauspicious. But Aak plant is an exception. Shwetark plant should not be planted. Sometimes it appears on its own, in this condition it should not be taken out, rather serve it everyday with turmeric, grains of rice and the place where water. Shwetark plant grows is auspicious and one gets peace and happiness. It is also believed, that a premises (of any venture) where a Shwetark plant flourishes, is blessed with abundance of good fortune. That land has hidden wealth.

Importance of Lotus in Vastu

If a small pond is constructed in Ishan kona of a business or industrial premises, and lotus are grown in it, it is believed that goddess Laxmi stays in the pond and she bestows peace and happiness. One gets easy and quick success with little efforts.

Importance of peepal, Gular or Pakad trees in Vastu

Peepal tree gives auspicious results in West direction. Peepal exhales oxygen and inhales carbon dioxide and other poisonous gases. It means Peepal tree cleans and purifies the environment by consuming poisonous gases from it. That is why planting a Peepal tree in West direction of the industrial premises is beneficial, so that the environment remains clean.

Coconut Tree

Planting a coconut tree in the premises of a house is auspicious, as it enhances the prosperity, progress and fame of the residents of that house.

Banyan Tree

This is also another important tree from view of vastu. Vat vriksha or Banyan tree is very auspicious in east side of the premises, as it has the power to fulfill all the desires. But its shadow should not reflect on the building. West direction is not auspicious for Banyan tree in the premises.

Amla Tree

According to Vastu, Amla tree is considered auspicious in any business or industrial premises. By planting this tree evil effects of other inauspicious plants in the premises can be removed.

Jamun (Black plum) tree

According to Vastu, Jamun tree in South of the premises of industry or business place is auspicious. It gives ordinary result in other directions. If Jamun tree is placed in North direction of the premises, pomegranate or Amla treeshould also be planted near Jamun tree.

Mango

In Vastu view, a Mango tree in the premises is not auspicious. but if it is present there, it should not be cut, rather one should put black til in its roots and offer (pour) water regularly. Better if a nirgundi plant is placed near Mango tree in the premises as it removes the negative effects of mango tree.

Neem

Neem tree is very auspicious in Vayavya kona. It purifies and cleans the environment and enhances health.

Bilva

Bilva tree is considered very auspicious in the premises of any building. This tree is the most favourite to lord Shiva, so the place where it is planted. Goddess of wealth Laxmi ma stays there for ever.

Auspicious plants

The trees of Ashoka, Maulshri, Shami, Champa, Anar, Supari (beetle nut), Jack fruit, Kelaki, math, Lotus, Chameli, (Jasmine), Juhi, Amla,Harsingar, coconut, banana etc are considered very auspicious in the premises of commercial building as one gets the blessings of Goddess Laxmi.

Rose Plant

In vastu, plants with thorns are considered inauspicious in the premises. But Rose plant is an exception. Only a creeper rose plant should be kept not in the house.

Some important tips

1. The main entrance door should always be adorned with green plants, foliage and flowers. As the native of this place feels mental peace and happiness.

2. Any big tree should not be planted in front of the main door as it is an indication of Vedha and blocks positive energy.

3. In the middle axis which joins the main entrance door and the backside portion, no plant should be planted over there as this plant casts negative results.

4. Any cactus plant should never be planted or neutered in the premises of building, as the presence of this plant increases tension in the house and brings bitterness in relationships. Now a days, people put cactus plant in their house in fashion to beautify the place but Vastu condemns this plant inside the house.

5. Plum tree in any premises creates enmity among the workers and they suffer rivalry and competition with each other. Since ages Tulsi plant is considered very sacred in the houses.

6. Tulsi plant in any business, industrial premises is very auspicious and saves the environment from pollution.

7. Person associated with education field must plant and nurture Amla, Pakad, Paras, Peepal, and Gular in the premises. But the shadow of these trees should not reach on the building. These trees should be planted in auspicious directions according to vastu principles.

8. Business person must plant and nurture shirish, Neem and Bilva trees. The trees should be planted in auspicious directions.

9. A Bilva tree, planted in West direction in the premises gives happiness to the workers or residents of that place.

10. A growing creeper upside is very auspicious in the premises of any business or Industrial premises, like a money plant.

11. If cutting of inauspicious wild plants is not possible, then some auspicious trees should be planted near those trees, as it removes the evil effects of the plant. But this principle is not used in connection to through cactus plants.
